Faculty, departments and colleges have formed partnerships linking Ithaca to New York City. The following are highlights of some of those collaborations:
Program Evaluation
Professor William Trochim, Director of Evaluation for Extension and Outreach for the College of Human Ecology, and Cornell Cooperative Extension - NYC are designing evaluation methodologies, software packages and protocols.
Labor and Employment Law
Law School and ILR Labor & Employment Law Program are collaborating on providing continuing legal education programs for labor and employment lawyers.
Financial Engineering
The Johnson School and ORIE (Operations Research and Information Engineering) are collaborating on a program that synthesizes the learning from basic technical courses and investment finance courses to achieve a high level of mathematical technique applied to practical problems in Financial Engineering.
Weill Cornell Medical College
Many Cornell University departments are partnering in the fields of: biomedical engineering, nanomedicine, systems biology, chemical biology, experimental therapeutics, global health, and cancer biology.
Urban Birds
Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Cornell Cooperative Extension - NYC have partnered with NYC organizations to provide opportunities to "Celebrate Urban Birds!"
